Ingredients
  

  • ½ to ¾ cup fresh ginger root (about 3–4 oz)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar, divided
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4 large limes)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Lime slices or mint sprigs for serving

Instructions
 

  • 1- Prepare the Ginger: Wash ginger thoroughly (leave skin on). Slice into rounds.
    2- Blend Mixture: Add sliced ginger, ½ cup sugar, and boiling water to a blender. Blend until smooth (about 1 minute).
    3- Strain: Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove solids.
    4- Mix Ingredients: Add lime juice and cold water to the pitcher. Stir well.
    5- Adjust Sweetness: Taste and add remaining ¼ cup sugar, if needed. Stir to dissolve.
    6- Serve: Add ice to the pitcher and serve cold in tall glasses. Garnish as desired.

Notes

  • Use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
  • Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for future use.
  • Add mint, basil, or even berries for flavor twists.
